A Note of Encouragement (Plus a Free Download!)








I want to take a moment today to talk about mindset around health and wellness. In a world with so much negativity and comparison, it is so easy to fall into negative mindsets in our lives -whether that relates to a job, relationship, raising kids or taking care of ourselves.


When it comes to our health, just like with anything in life, we are always on this roller coaster. There are ups and downs, sudden stops, fear and thrills. It's easy to get bogged down by setbacks and challenges. However, maintaining a positive mindset is crucial to achieving your goals and staying motivated. Here are some tips for staying positive on your health journey:


  1. Set Realistic Goals: Setting achievable goals is crucial to maintaining a positive mindset. Break your larger goals down into smaller, manageable ones that you can track your progress on. Celebrate your successes along the way, no matter how small.

  2. Focus on the Positives: Instead of dwelling on the negatives or what you haven't accomplished yet, focus on the positives. Think about the progress you've made and how far you've come. Celebrate small victories, such as hitting a new personal best at the gym or cooking a healthy meal from scratch.

  3. Practice Gratitude: Gratitude is a powerful tool for maintaining a positive mindset. Take time each day to reflect on the things you're grateful for, whether it's a sunny day or a healthy meal. Gratitude can help shift your focus from what you lack to what you have.

  4. Find Joy in the Journey: While achieving your health goals is important, it's also important to enjoy the journey. Find joy in the healthy habits you're forming, such as trying new healthy recipes or going for a walk in nature. Enjoying the journey can help you stay motivated and positive.

  5. Surround Yourself with Supportive People: It's important to surround yourself with people who are supportive and positive. Seek out friends or family members who share your health goals or join a support group or online community. Having a support system can help you stay motivated and on track.


I believe that surrounding yourself with supportive people and having accountability is one of the most powerful ways to stay positive! I have seen first hand many individuals just like you find the joy in the journey and achieve their goals because of community, encouragement from others, and accountability from me as their coach and trainer.
